Angelina Jolie wants to cross the Sahara with family

New York, July 30 : Angelina Jolie is planning her next family adventure, and she has revealed that she wants to "cross the Sahara".

According to the Financial Times, Jolie, 36, who with husband Brad Pitt adopted three kids from overseas, is already planning ahead what she wants to do.

"It takes 28 days . . . it would have to be on a camel," the New York Post quoted her as saying. 

"I wonder if I could do it in pieces and station the kids along the way," she added.

Pitt, Jolie like prisoners of fame: Matt Damon

London, July 20 : Actor Matt Damon feels his high-profile friends Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have become "prisoners" of fame.

"I have friends who are like prisoners. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, for instance. They can't just go someplace," femalefirst.co.uk quoted him as saying.


"I'm really lucky, because I have the best of both worlds. I do the work that I love and need, but don't need paramilitary troops to protect me when I walk out my front door," he said.


Damon credits Luciana, his wife, for keeping him out of the public eye.


"Ever since I found my wife and we had children, my whole life revolves around that. It gave my life a dramatic change in direction.


"I'm not as crazy as most of the other stars. I don't really know why, probably because I married a woman who isn't an actress. And we live in New York. As long as we don't show up in typical tourist spots, we can walk the streets without being noticed," he said.

Angelina Jolie's sons love eating crickets

London, July 18 : Actress Angelina Jolie has been forced to ban bugs from her kitchen after her children developed a liking for it.

Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt often take their six children with them on their global tours and the actress admits her sons have gotten so hooked on eating cooked crickets, which are commonly served in Combodia, they crave for them as if they were potato chips.

"My boys love to eat crickets. It's their favourite thing... When I first gave it to them... I wanted them to not be turned-off by something that wasn't (part of) their culture. So I bought them... and they ate them like Doritos (chips)," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.

"And they wouldn't stop and they brought to-go boxes home. And then I had to actually ban the cricket-eating at a certain point because I was afraid they were going to get sick from eating too many... But they're good!" she added.

Brad Pitt 'feels rich being around his family'

London, July 08 : Actor Brad Pitt has said that quality time with his family means more than anything else.

The actor is famously the father of six children with Angelina Jolie: Maddox, Zahara, Pax, biological daughter Shiloh and twins - Knox, Vivienne.

“The biggest change for me was being a dad,” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

“I am really proud of this family. They’re brothers and sisters, and they’re fighting, laughing and driving me crazy, and I feel rich being around them. Each one brings so much to the mix,” he added.

While filming demands keep him busy, his charity work takes up even more of his time. Like Jolie, he has learned to make good use of his celebrity status to promote the causes close to his heart, and they have both given millions of pounds towards fighting poverty and hunger in Third World nations.

“What’s valuable to me has become clearer as I’ve got older,” he said.

“To me, it’s about the value of your time and your day, and the value of the people you spend it with. It’s about me being a strong father and guide and a good match for my significant other. Then if I’m going to go to work, it must be something of value to me.

“I’m much more experienced now so I can find films that are interesting quicker and cut out the films that don’t really matter.

“It means more to me now because my kids are going to see them and I want them to be proud of me,” he added.

Jennifer Aniston Talks Brad Pitt Split

It was the  heartbreak  heard ‘round the world when Brad Pitt ditched Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie back in 2005, and Jennifer recently told press she took refuge in her work.

The “Rumor Has It” babe, who is now happily attached to actor Justin Theroux, explained that her film “ The Break Up ” starring Vince Vaughn was key in helping her get back on her feet.

Aniston noted, "It was a beautiful human story about a couple breaking up...You know, I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue. I honestly felt like, what a great way to sort of exorcise some of that."

She added that the film’s producers were hesitant to offer her the role given her recent divorce. "I was like, why not? Turn the page, let's move on. I enjoyed it! You'd think otherwise."
