2nd pregnancy making me feel like an official mum, says Jessica Alba

Washington, Aug 9 : Actress Jessica Alba is already mother to one child, but it is her second pregnancy that is really making her feel like an "official mother".

The 30-year-old actress, who is already a mother of three-year-old daughter Honor with hubby Cash Warren, has revealed that she will "truly be a mum" when she gives birth to her second child later this year.

The star has already begun getting a nursery prepared and is very excited about expanding her family as it takes parenting "to another level".

"It feels like you're really officially, really truly a mother when you have two kids. One kid you're a mother for sure but two takes it to another level," Contactmusic quoted her telling People magazine.

"I use stains and paints that are eco-friendly and safe," she added while discussing about her baby room plans.

Jessica Alba reportedly expecting another daughter

Washington, July 26 : Speculations that Jessica Alba is expecting another daughter were fuelled after guests at her baby shower were spotted giving her pink-coloured gifts.

The 30-year-old actress, who is already a mum to three-year-old Honor Marie with husband Cash Warren, is going to give birth for the second time in the coming weeks, Contactmusic reported.

According to website X17Online, the party was held at the Hollywood home of Alba’s friend Kelly Sawyer.

The ‘Spy Kids’ star did not comment on the gender of her baby but later thanked her friends for the amazing baby shower on Twitter.

Jessica Alba is not fully prepared for second child's arrival

Washington, July 22 : Jessica Alba has revealed that she is not fully prepared for the arrival of her second child with Cash Warren.

Alba, 30, whose due date is just around the corner, revealed at the Lucky magazine/ThisNext.com event in Pacific Palisades, Calif., that she is giving her house a makeover.

"The nursery isn't ready. It's not even close, but I'm accumulating things," Us magazine quoted her as saying.

"In the beginning the baby stays with me in the room, so you don't need the nursery ready so soon. 

"We're remodelling our house, so it's going to take a few months. I'm really taking my time," she added.

Jessica Alba finds fan's 'look-alike' surgery plans 'bizarre'!

London, July 14 : Jessica Alba was left shocked after she came to know that a Chinese girl was planning to undergo cosmetic surgery to look exactly like her.

Alba, 30, said she found it “bizarre” that the 21-year-old, known only as Xiaoqing, wanted to transform her looks in a desperate bid to win back her former boyfriend, who is a fan of the actress.

“That’s just so bizarre. The physical is so fleeting anyway,” the Daily Express quoted Alba as telling Allure Magazine.

“And when you’re in a relationship, the physical lasts for, maximum, two years. And then you don’t care how attractive (sic) you are to that person - if they drive you nuts, they drive you nuts,” she added.

Xiaoqing had admitted last year that she would like to undergo the surgery, and she had been offered a cosmetic overhaul for free by surgeons in Shanghai.

But the actress reached out to the girl to plead with her not to change her appearance, and Xiaoqing gave up her operation plans.

I will never regain my pre-baby body, says Jessica Alba

London, July 13 : Though she is eagerly awaiting her second child later this summer, Jessica Alba has admitted that motherhood has changed her body forever.

The 29-year-old actress, who''s famous for her exotic beauty and bikini body, worked hard to get back into the shape she was in before giving birth to her daughter Honor. 

Despite apparently regaining her enviable figure, Alba insists that she will never fully regain her pre-pregnancy figure.

“I can’t ever get down to the weight I was before I had Honor,” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling the August issue of Allure.

“My body’s just different. The jeans just sort of zip up differently, and things hang differently. It’s a miracle what happens, but you definitely are different afterward. Unless you’re Gisele,” she added.

The star, who is married to production assistant Cash Warren, however can''t help but marvel at the miracle of pregnancy.

“I saw how incredible and amazing it is to be a woman and to be able to create a life,” she said.

“There’s a reason why certain areas of the body are desirable - because it all leads to reproduction. There’s a science behind it all. It’s not just to sell whatever you’re selling on a billboard or a magazine or a movie,” she added.

A Very Pregnant Jessica Alba Gets All Pretty for New Baby

Leave it to Jessica Alba to make a pregnant belly look glamorous.

The actress brought her baby bump to the nail salon yesterday for some serious R&R. With no hubby or daughter in sight, the gorgeous mommy indulged in some last-minute pampering before her due date this September.

And it seems she just can't wait to expand her brood. Mrs. cash Warren graces the cover of Latina magazine this week, where she spilled details on family, pregnancy and looking good.

"If you are sporting a pregnant belly, it's better to show it than to hide it," she says. "The more figure-forming your clothes, even though you have more curves, the better."

But then again, Jess could rock a potato sack and still look like Maxim's hottest.

"After I had Honor I didn't leave the house for a while. It was all about changing diapers and feedings and still trying to get back in to the routine of my acting thing."

The 30-year-old Spy Kids 4 star is putting her career aside to focus on her family. So could that mean more babies in the future?
"I just have to feel it out. See how my 30s treat me. I just try to live in the moment."

Washington, July 7 : Jessica Alba has revealed that she could not leave her house for a while after she first became a mom to 2-year-old daughter Honor Marie.

The ‘Little Fockers’ actress, who is currently expecting her second child with husband Cash Warren, revealed she found it hard to balance being a mother with her acting career.

“After I had Honor I didn’t leave the house for a while,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling Latina magazine.

“It was all about changing diapers and feedings and still trying to get back in to the routine of my acting thing 

“I love what I do. But unless it’s worth it, I’m not going to spend time away from my daughter. Before I had her, work was all I had. Now it’s not,” she added.
